Dedicated Heavy-Duty Equipment Specialist

At US Foods, Inc., we are seeking a highly skilled Senior Fleet Mechanic to join our team. This role is responsible for diagnosing and repairing diesel equipment, performing preventative maintenance, and maintaining accurate records of repairs.
Key Responsibilities:- Troubleshoot, diagnose, rebuild, replace, and complete all required repairs on diesel equipment.
- Perform preventative maintenance within company standards.
- Complete documentation of all repair orders, PM lists, and parts accountability.
- Handle road service calls; perform road rescue/transport equipment as needed.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment in compliance with workplace safety rules and regulations and government guidelines.
The ideal candidate will have at least 7 years of verifiable hands-on experience as a heavy-duty commercial diesel mechanic or reefer mechanic or a combination of both. A valid Class-A CDL license and DOT certification are preferred. The successful candidate will also possess excellent communication skills, be able to manage multiple functions simultaneously in a fast-paced environment, and adapt to changing organizational and operational needs.
Salary: $25-$32 per hour
