Medical Office Coordinator

We are seeking a skilled Medical Receptionist to join our dedicated team in the management of patient processes.
About the Role- Greet patients warmly and create a professional atmosphere in the reception area.
- Register new patients, collect personal and insurance information, and verify existing patient data with accuracy and efficiency.
- Schedule patient appointments, follow-up visits, and tests with precision.
- Answer phone calls, respond to inquiries, and assist with appointment rescheduling as needed.
- Coordinate with medical staff to ensure seamless patient visits.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain electronic medical records and process insurance claims.
- Handle patient check-ins and check-outs while adhering to HIPAA regulations.
- Collaborate with other office staff to enhance the overall patient experience.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in a similar role in a healthcare setting.
- Prior EMR/EHR experience - EPIC preferred.
- Familiarity with medical terminology, insurance procedures, and electronic health records.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Proficiency in using computer systems and basic software applications.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in patient data entry and scheduling.
