About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Radio Frequency Engineer to join our team at Amphenol RF. As a key member of our Design Engineering team, you will be responsible for designing and developing microwave components, including connectors, attenuators, terminations, and switches.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with Project and Principal RF Engineers to design and develop high-performance RF products.
  • Utilize HFSS FEA software to simulate RF products and optimize their performance.
  • Work with state-of-the-art test equipment, including network and spectrum analyzers.
  • Apply RF design concepts to design high-performance transmission lines.
  • Support the Design Engineering team during the NPI process to validate and optimize RF performance.
  • Facilitate and document electrical testing of prototypes in a lab environment.
  • Interact with quality, engineering, and program management groups to execute and refine product development plans.
  • Provide testing support for production when needed.
  • Perform research to help develop new products.
  • Ability to travel minimally when necessary.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
  • Up to two (2) years of related experience. Recent college graduates are encouraged to apply.
  • Ability to use established procedures and work under close supervision.
  • Familiarity with Ansys HFSS or CST. Interest or experience in RF products is highly desirable but not required.
