Job Title: Machine Operator

We are seeking an experienced Machine Operator to join our team at Leahy Landscaping, Inc. in the greater Boston, Essex County, and Southern New Hampshire areas.

Job Summary:

The Machine Operator will be responsible for operating heavy equipment such as excavators, track machines, and backhoes to perform various tasks related to landscaping and construction. The ideal candidate will have a valid CDL, hydraulics license, and hoisting license, as well as excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities:
  • Operate heavy equipment such as excavators, track machines, and backhoes to perform tasks related to landscaping and construction.
  • Transport equipment to and from job sites.
  • Perform maintenance and repairs on equipment as needed.
  • Work collaboratively with the project manager and other team members to ensure successful project completion.
  • Meet physical demands of the job, including lifting heavy objects and working in various weather conditions.
Requirements:
  • Valid CDL (Min 2A 1C)
  • Hydraulics License
  • Hoisting License
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to lift a minimum of 50lbs repeatedly throughout the workday

Compensation:
  • $35-40 an hour, depending on experience
