Job Summary:
A Medical Equipment Technician is needed for our Dialysis team at Houston Methodist Hospital. This role is responsible for ensuring the efficient operation of dialysis machines and equipment, providing technical support to nursing staff, and maintaining a safe environment for patients.

Key Responsibilities:
* Perform routine maintenance and repairs on dialysis machines and equipment
* Monitor water system quality and perform daily chloramine testing
* Assist patients with various tasks, such as meal trays and transfers
* Maintain inventory control and stock supplies
* Participate in performance improvement projects and shared governance activities

Requirements:
* High school diploma or equivalent education
* Six months health care experience
* One year dialysis experience preferred
* Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required

Estimated Salary Range:
$40,000 - $60,000 per year, depending on experience.
