Network Control Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Network Control Technician to join our team at Huntington Ingalls Industries. The successful candidate will be responsible for the administration, maintenance, and cybersecurity defense of all Navy Enterprise Tactical Training Network (NETTN) client, server, and network infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer, maintain, and secure all Navy Enterprise Tactical Training Network (NETTN) client, server, and network infrastructure.
- Perform Microsoft Windows client/server administration, maintenance, patching, and configuring systems in compliance with DoD Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIG).
- Collaborate with other team members and departments to update, monitor, and maintain servers, workstations, and network devices used throughout the enterprise.
- Design and implement network solutions to optimize cost savings and meet business requirements.
- Provide regular monitoring and network analysis to ensure smooth operation of local area, wide area, and virtual private networks (VPN).
Requirements:
- 5 years of relevant experience with a Bachelor's degree in a related field, or 3 years of experience with a Master's degree in a related field, or 0 years of experience with a PhD or Juris Doctorate in a related field, or 9 years of experience with a High School Diploma or equivalent.
- 7 years of related experience with a Security or equivalent certification.
- Use of Enterprise Patching systems preferred.
- Cisco experience required.
- Linux/Microsoft/Cisco certification preferred.
- Must currently hold and be able to maintain a US Secret security clearance.
