Job Summary

We seek an experienced full-time LPN (38.75 hours per week from 2:30 p.m. -10:45pm) for Personal Care at The Village at Kelly Drive in York, PA. This role involves providing high-quality care to residents while ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with medication administration and treatments as prescribed by physicians
  • Maintain accurate narcotic records and dispose of narcotics as required, reporting any discrepancies to supervisors
  • Perform routine administrative tasks such as completing lab slips, scheduling appointments, and preparing podiatry lists and maintenance requests
  • Admit, transfer, and discharge residents according to physician orders and agency policy
  • Monitor lab results to ensure compliance with physician orders and state and federal regulations, consulting with physicians regarding abnormal results

Requirements

  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with a current unencumbered LPN license in Pennsylvania
  • Proficient interpersonal relations and communication skills
  • Decision-making and evaluation skills
  • Knowledge of current Department of Public Welfare regulations for personal care homes
  • CPR certification
