Construction Project Coordinator

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Construction Project Coordinator to join our team at The Middlesex Corporation. In this role, you will be responsible for managing and coordinating all aspects of subcontractor activities on construction projects.
About the Role:
- You will work closely with subcontractors, project managers, and site supervisors to ensure that subcontracted work is completed according to project specifications, on time, and within budget.
- You will assist in the development of project plans, schedules, and budgets, specifically focusing on subcontracted work. You will ensure that all subcontractor activities are aligned with the overall project timeline.
- You will review and interpret subcontract agreements to ensure that all terms, conditions, and specifications are clearly understood and adhered to by subcontractors. You will address any contract-related issues that arise during the project.
- You will track the progress of subcontracted work against the project schedule. You will identify and address any delays or issues that could impact the overall project timeline.
- You will serve as the primary point of contact for subcontractors regarding technical issues, change orders, and other project-related concerns. You will work with project managers and other stakeholders to resolve any issues that arise.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and coordinate the activities of subcontractors on the project site.
- Assist in the development of project plans, schedules, and budgets.
- Review and interpret subcontract agreements.
- Track the progress of subcontracted work.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for subcontractors.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in construction project management or a related role, with a focus on subcontractor management.
- Experience working on large-scale construction projects is preferred.
- Strong project management and organizational skills.
- Ability to read and interpret construction plans, specifications, and contracts.
- Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Salary Range: $80,000 - $110,000 per year.
