**Job Summary:**

We're seeking a skilled and compassionate Pediatric Occupational Therapist to join our Outpatient team at UNC Medical Center. In this role, you'll work closely with experienced professionals to provide high-quality care to children from birth to 21 years old. Your expertise in pediatric neurological and developmental rehabilitation will be invaluable in helping us achieve our mission.

**About the Role:**

This is a Per Diem position, offering flexibility and autonomy. You'll work variable hours, including Saturdays, and collaborate with other disciplines within the UNC Healthcare System. Your strong leadership skills and ability to coordinate patient care coverage will make you an asset to our team.

**Responsibilities:**

- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for pediatric patients with complex needs
- Provide occupational therapy services, including aquatic therapy, splinting, wheelchair and equipment evaluations, and functional electrical stimulation
- Collaborate with physical therapists, speech-language pathologists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care coordination
- Complete accurate and timely documentation in the medical record, adhering to department guidelines
- Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices in occupational therapy

**Requirements:**

- Graduate degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy program
- Strong clinical experience in pediatric neurological and developmental rehabilitation, including splinting
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with patients, families, and colleagues
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities
- Strong problem-solving skills, with a focus on providing creative solutions to complex challenges
