Job Responsibilities

  1. Direct and coordinate activities in the Anesthesia Department
  2. Responsible for the medical management of patients undergoing unconsciousness or insensibility to pain and emotional stress during surgery and other medical procedures
  3. Pre-anesthesia assessment and preparation
  4. Obtain and verify patient consent
  5. Discuss anesthetic options and risks with patients
  6. Induction, maintenance, and emergence from anesthesia
  7. Monitoring of patients' physiological condition
  8. Perform clinical interventions as needed

Requirements and Qualifications

  • Hold an M.D./D.O. degree from an accredited College of Medicine
  • Be proficient in TEE
  • Complete a Cardiac Fellowship program
  • Possess ECFMG and FLEX certification
  • Complete an approved residency in anesthesia
  • Currently licensed as a physician
