Hospice Care Specialist

Butterfly Hospice of Orange County is seeking a dedicated Licensed Practical/Vocational Nurse to join our team. As a member of our interdisciplinary care team, you will provide direct patient care under the supervision of a registered nurse, following the plan of care and implementing treatments as defined in the State Nurse Practice Act.
Key Responsibilities:
- Providing direct patient care, including administering medications, performing treatments, and documenting patient services accurately and timely.
- Assessing and educating patients and their families/caregivers on pertinent diagnosis and self-plan of care.
- Participating in coordination of hospice services, reporting identified needs for hospice interdisciplinary group members.
- Using equipment and supplies effectively and efficiently.
- Providing pain/symptom management and evaluating patient response to treatments/medications.
Requirements:
- Graduate of an accredited practical nurse or vocational nursing program.
- 0-1 year nursing experience.
- Currently licensed as a LVN in California.
- Complies with accepted professional standards and practice.

We offer a competitive salary range of $65,000 - $85,000 per year, depending on experience, plus benefits including dental insurance, health insurance, and vision insurance.
