Facilities Maintenance Specialist

At HES Facilities, we are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Facilities Maintenance Specialist to join our team. As a Facilities Maintenance Specialist, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our facilities, ensuring a safe and healthy environment for our employees and visitors.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain the cleanliness and organization of assigned areas, including sweeping, dusting, and mopping floors.
• Perform any combination of cleaning duties to maintain the daily upkeep and cleanliness of the facility.
• Remove trash and recyclables, and clean and sanitize restrooms and locker rooms.
• Polish outside areas within 10 feet of entryways, wash windows, and clean desks, walls, furniture, doors, entry glass, interior glass, countertops, chalkboards, whiteboards, blinds, and light fixtures.
• Perform other duties as directed by the custodial supervisor or designated representative.

Requirements:

• Excellent work history and team-focused approach.
• Ability to work efficiently with attention to detail in a physically demanding fast-paced environment.
• Reliable transportation and a background check.
• High school degree preferred, but not required.
• Previous cleaning experience is a plus.

Ability to reach, bend, stoop, wipe, push, and pull. Ability to exert maximum muscle force to lift, push, pull, or carry objects up to 25 pounds frequently, and up to 50 pounds on an occasional basis. Extensive walking and standing for the duration of the shift. Must have sufficient mobility to perform assigned tasks with production and service time frames as established by the company. Ability to work with various temperatures, extreme from hot to cold.
