Critical Care Nursing Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Critical Care Nursing Manager to join our team at The George Washington University Hospital, a leading academic medical center in downtown Washington, D.C.
About the Role:This is an exciting opportunity to oversee daily operations and staff assignments in the ICU, ensuring high standards of patient care and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to support clinical excellence.
As a Critical Care Nursing Manager, you will act as a mentor, leader, and resource for nursing staff while maintaining the operational integrity of the unit.
Key Responsibilities:- Oversee daily operations and staff assignments in the ICU.
- Provide leadership and mentorship to nursing staff to ensure the delivery of evidence-based, patient-centered care.
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes.
- Monitor quality metrics and implement performance improvement initiatives.
- Assist in the development and implementation of staff education and training programs.
- Current RN license in Washington, D.C. (or eligible to obtain before start date).
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required; Master's degree in Nursing or Healthcare Management preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of ICU nursing experience.
- Previous leadership or charge nurse experience in an ICU setting preferred.

Compensation and Benefits:We offer a competitive salary range of $120,000 - $160,000 per year, based on experience, plus excellent benefits, including medical, dental, vision, and prescription drug coverage, as well as a 401(k) plan with company match.
