About the Job

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Systems Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical troubleshooting and repair, with a focus on industrial environments.

  • This role involves identifying and resolving electrical problems in a timely manner, ensuring the safe operation of electrical systems.
  • The successful candidate will possess excellent technical expertise, with a deep understanding of electrical systems, components, and wiring.
  • Strong communication skills are essential for this position, as you will be interacting with clients, team members, and supervisors to discuss electrical issues, repairs, and any additional actions required.
Responsibilities

The primary responsibilities of this role include:

  • Electrical Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve electrical problems in industrial settings, ensuring safe and efficient operation of electrical systems.
  • Safety Compliance: Ensure adherence to safety protocols and standards while diagnosing and addressing electrical issues, mitigating risks and hazards.
  • Paperwork Management: Efficiently complete electronic or paper-based work orders, documenting your findings, repairs, and actions taken to maintain accurate records of the tasks performed.
  • Problem-Solving: Utilize your problem-solving skills to assess complex electrical problems, devise effective solutions, and implement repairs in a timely manner.
Requirements

To be considered for this position, you must meet the following requirements:

  • A Michigan State Electrical License is required.
  • Electrical Code is a must.
  • 6 or more years of electrical work experience for a contractor.
  • You must live within 40 miles of Kalamazoo.
  • You must pass a background check and drug test upon hire.
  • You must be authorized to work in the US.
