Job Summary

Atrium Health is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chief Radiation Therapist to lead our Radiation Therapy team. As a key member of our department, you will be responsible for supervising radiation therapists, ensuring quality assurance, and maintaining regulatory and accreditation requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise and train radiation therapists to ensure high-quality patient care.
  • Ensure weekly chart checks are completed and maintain employee records.
  • Act as a liaison between therapy staff and physics/physicians to ensure seamless communication.
  • Monitor productivity and adhere to budgetary constraints.
  • Perform daily treatments and simulations as needed, and demonstrate thought leadership.
  • Act as a patient advocate and address concerns regarding treatment experience.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A High School Diploma or GED.
  • Completion of an AMA-approved School of Therapeutic Radiology.
  • ARRT registry and 5 years of experience as a Radiation Therapist.
  • A Bachelor's degree is preferred.
