Energy Sustainability Specialist

LACI, a leading clean technology incubator, is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Program Associate Energy to join our team. This exciting opportunity will enable you to contribute to the development of clean energy solutions that drive innovation and sustainability.

Your Role: As a Program Associate Energy, you will play a crucial role in advancing our Clean Energy Partnership initiatives and supporting the advancement of clean energy goals. You will lead the development of our Clean Energy Partnership Newsletter, conduct research on key policy, business model, workforce, and technology issues related to the clean energy market, track and analyze key energy policy at local, regional, and state levels, and participate in and track related technology, policy, and funding developments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the Director of Energy in ensuring the advancement of LACI's Clean Energy Partnership clean energy goals.
- Lead the development of LACI's Clean Energy Partnership Newsletter.
- Conduct research on major policy, business model, workforce, and technology issues related to the clean energy market.
- Track and analyze key energy policy at local, regional, and state levels.
- Participate in and track related technology, policy, and funding developments.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Environment, Policy, or related field.
- Minimum of 3-4 years work experience.
- Strong research and analytical skills.
- DIRECT policy analysis, program management, and/or event management experience.
- Knowledge of clean energy market trends, building decarbonization, and distributed energy resources.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, organization, and time management skills.
- Knowledge of Google Docs, Microsoft Office in word processing, Excel, and presentation/slides.
- Excellent writing and communication skills are required.
