Pediatric Intensive Care Unit Manager

We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Pediatric Intensive Care Unit Manager to join our team at Seattle Children's. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the PICU, ensuring high-quality patient care, and fostering a collaborative environment among staff members.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement staffing plans, scheduling, and staff development initiatives to meet current and anticipated needs.
- Collaborate with Director, Clinical Director, Physicians, and clinical staff to manage, assess, and enhance the provision of patient care services within the PICU.
- Maintain compliance with patient safety and regulatory requirements.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A graduate degree in Nursing, or a related field.
- A minimum of two years of nursing experience, preferably in a pediatric intensive care setting.
- Demonstrated leadership experience, with a proven track record of success in managing teams and improving patient outcomes.
- A current Washington State RN license, and national certification in a clinical specialty area (obtained within three years of employment).
- BLS for Healthcare providers certification.
The estimated salary for this position is $126,805.00 - $190,207.00 per year, depending on experience. We offer a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision plans, 403(b) retirement plan, life insurance, continuing education opportunities, and more.
