About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Civil Engineer to join our Infrastructure and Natural Resources Business Unit in Austin or New Braunfels, TX. As a member of our team, you will play a key role in providing clients with effective, responsive, and safe solutions for civil infrastructure and water resource needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop solutions for water agencies, municipalities, and private clients addressing civil infrastructure and water resource needs and improvements.
  • Develop or improve infrastructure systems including water, sanitary sewer, transportation, and stormwater.
  • Perform technical research, design calculations, drafting figures, and preparing construction plan sets.
  • Prepare technical memorandums and reports, develop cost estimates, and prepare permit applications.
  • Conduct field data collection, perform site inspections and inventories, and perform construction observation, monitoring, and reporting.
Requirements
  • 0+ years of engineering design experience and a desire to build your technical foundation.
  • Experience with civil infrastructure, water and wastewater systems, and water resources.
  • A strong work ethic and commitment to producing high-quality deliverables.
  • Excellent technical and problem-solving skills, attention to detail, accuracy, and completeness.
  • Ability to travel to client locations and other Trihydro offices.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
