About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Mobile Therapist to join our team at Northern Children's Services. As a key member of our organization, you will provide intensive psychotherapy services to children and families in various settings, promoting their healthy development and well-being.

Job Summary

This part-time position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of children, youth, and families. You will work closely with child and family members to develop adaptive skills, relationships, and daily routines that enhance treatment approaches.

Responsibilities
  • Communicate effectively with child, family, and other involved professionals to promote crisis intervention, develop crisis plans, and implement treatment plans.
  • Maintain progress notes for every billable and nonbillable contact, submitting them within 72 hours from date of service.
  • Document collateral contacts with family and other entities involved with client treatment in progress notes.
  • Provide child-centered, evidenced-based, family-focused individual and family psychotherapy as appropriate, addressing defined problem areas in the treatment plan.
Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you must possess:

  • A Master's Degree from an accredited university in a clinical mental health discipline AND completed clinical or MH practicum.
  • At least one year full-time paid experience in the mental health field, with excellent working knowledge of clinical issues relating to children, adolescents, and families.
  • Familiarity with multiple child-serving systems (e.g., education, juvenile justice, child welfare, mental health, drug and alcohol, health care, and vocational rehab).
Physical Capabilities & Work Environment

You will require:

  • The ability to walk up and down stairs.
  • The ability to lift 20 lbs.
  • The ability to operate a computer, printer, and calculator.
  • The ability to operate a motor vehicle or access public transportation.
Compensation & Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of $60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on qualifications and experience. Additionally, you will receive:
