Sushi Prep/Line Cook

At Blind Tiger, a secret restaurant inside Reunion Ktchn Bar in Aventura, we are seeking a skilled Sushi Prep/Line Cook to join our team. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for preparing sushi dishes to the highest standards of taste, presentation, and food safety.

• Assist in the preparation of sushi ingredients, including fish chopping, cooking sushi rice, and assembling sushi rolls and hand rolls with precision and creativity.
• Work closely with the Sushi Chef to ensure all sushi dishes are prepared to the highest standards of taste, presentation, and food safety.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in the sushi bar area, including equipment and utensils.
• Assist with receiving and storing deliveries, ensuring proper rotation of stock and storage of ingredients.
• Help with general kitchen duties, including dishwashing, cleaning, and sanitizing surfaces.
• Support kitchen staff during peak periods by assisting with food preparation tasks as needed.
• Follow instructions from the Sushi Chef and Kitchen Manager to ensure efficient workflow and timely service.
• Adhere to all safety and sanitation guidelines, including proper handling of cleaning chemicals and equipment.
• Maintain a positive attitude and professional demeanor while performing duties in a fast-paced environment.
