Autism Therapist with Training and Development Opportunities

About This RoleThis entry-level position as a Behavior Technician at AST, part of LEARN Behavioral, offers a rewarding experience working with children with autism. As a Behavior Technician, you will have the exciting role of helping children learn, grow, and build communication, socialization, and self-help skills through applied behavior analysis (ABA) therapy.
A key aspect of this job is gaining training and skills to support a career in behavior analysis, behavioral health, teaching, occupational therapy, speech-language pathology, counseling, mental health, and parenting. You will create lasting, positive change for children and their families while developing professionally.

- Earn starting pay at $16.25 per hour and up with experience.
- Become eligible to earn RBT certification.
- Up to 15 days of paid time off (PTO) after 90 days of employment for full-time employees.
- Sick leave eligibility for part-time employees.
We also understand the importance of work-life balance, which is why we offer flexible scheduling options. As a Behavior Technician, you will work with kids aged 2-21 with autism and special needs at our center or in their homes.
Requirements and QualificationsTo be successful in this role, you will need to meet the following requirements:
- Meet the minimum age requirement of 18 (on or before the first day of employment).
- Eligibility to work in the United States.
- Availability to work a consistent weekly schedule: mornings, afternoons, and/or evenings.
- The ability to pass a background check.
PREFERRED qualifications include:
- Bilingual English/Spanish fluency.
- Experience working with children, whether as a babysitter, nanny, tutor, teacher, coach, camp counselor, or some other form of childcare.
