Responsibilities
  • Investigate and resolve patient complaints, collaborating with Quality Assurance, physicians, and administrators as needed.
  • Identify and communicate Risk Management issues to administration and Risk Management.
  • Conduct thorough investigations into patient complaints and quality issues.
  • Communicate hospital policies and procedures to patients, families, and staff.
  • Develop and maintain effective customer relations with physicians, patients, families, and healthcare teams.
  • Aggregate, analyze, and report survey results.
  • Review, update, and edit hospital Patient Information Guides.
  • Participate in Performance Improvement activities and committees as assigned.
Qualifications

A high school diploma or equivalent, along with three years of related experience or two years of directly related patient relations experience, is required. A Bachelor's degree is preferred and may be substituted for the required experience. Hospital experience is highly valued.
