Driver License Examiner Assistant

As a Driver License Examiner Assistant with the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, you will play a vital role in supporting the Department of Transportation's mission to provide excellent customer service to the public. In this role, you will engage with customers to confirm their identification, ensure the completion of application forms, and input data into the online driver license application system. You will also conduct standardized knowledge assessments to gauge applicants' comprehension of the vehicle code, driving regulations, and relevant traffic control devices. Additionally, you will perform vision screening exams for applicants and ensure compliance with the Driver and Vehicle Services' Customer Service Policy. Responsibilities
Engage with customers to confirm their identification and ensure the completion of application forms
Input data into the online driver license application system

Ensure compliance with the Driver and Vehicle Services' Customer Service Policy

One year of experience obtaining, evaluating, and providing information to the public
Ability to perform essential job functions
Meet the PA residency requirement
Pass a Fingerprint and Name-Based Criminal History Check prior to employment
