About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Ambulatory Leukemia Advanced Practice Provider to join our team at Massachusetts General Hospital. This is a full-time position with a competitive salary and comprehensive benefits package.

The ideal candidate will have a Master's Degree in Nursing or completion of NCCPA program, current licensure in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts as a registered NP/PA, and current certification as a nurse practitioner in appropriate specialty to care for adult patients. Prior hematology/oncology experience is preferred, as well as proficiency with Epic and EMRs.

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct care to patients with leukemia, collaborating with attending physicians and disease center teams.
  • Perform and record patient history and physical examinations, discuss findings with the team, and coordinate laboratory results.
  • Apply advanced practice knowledge to identify and prevent complex patient care problems.
  • Follow and manage patients, enhancing continuity of care, and perform specialized procedures mutually agreed upon with collaborating physicians.
Requirements
  • Master's Degree in Nursing or completion of NCCPA program.
  • Current licensure in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts as a registered NP/PA.
  • Current certification as a nurse practitioner in appropriate specialty to care for adult patients.
  • Prior hematology/oncology experience preferred.
  • Proficiency with Epic and EMRs preferred.
