As a Behavioral Mental Health Technician, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safety and well-being of our patients under the direction of our Program Director/Manager and Unit Charge Nurse.

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Behavioral Mental Health Technician to join our team. In this role, you will assist in providing safe and effective patient care while promoting a therapeutic environment for patients/residents. You will work closely with our multidisciplinary team to ensure that each patient receives the highest level of care and attention.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist in providing direct patient care under the direction of the Program Director/Manager and Unit Charge Nurse
  • Support the development and implementation of individualized treatment plans for patients
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure continuity of care and effective communication
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient interactions and progress
  • Perform administrative duties as assigned by management
Requirements:
  • Valid driver's license in good standing (strongly preferred)
  • CPR certification (offered on-site)
  • Handle With Care certification (offered on-site)
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field (preferred)
  • Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English language
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Basic clerical skills and experience with office equipment
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
