Sports Medicine Specialist

Job Overview & Responsibilities:

At PT Solutions Physical Therapy, we're dedicated to providing exceptional sports medicine care to athletes. Our team of experts uses research-driven methods and treatments to help patients recover from injuries and achieve their goals.

We're seeking a highly skilled Athletic Trainer to join our team at West Greene High School. As an outreach position, you'll work closely with our athletes to develop timely treatment plans and provide top-notch care.

Your Responsibilities as an Athletic Trainer:

• Establish treatment plans tailored to each patient's specific needs
• Demonstrate a positive connection with patients, fellow clinicians, and other team members
• Build and maintain relationships throughout the community
• Conduct orthopedic assessments and documentation
• Counsel patients on concussions, nutrition, mental health, and other relevant topics
• Coordinate stakeholder communication, including MDs, PTs, and other healthcare professionals
• Set up fields and venues for athletic events

Qualifications & Pay Range:

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

• Bachelor's degree in athletic training, with a master's degree preferred
• State licensure and certification by the American Board of Certification
• Basic Life Support Certification from the American Heart Association
