Job Purpose

The Server provides table service to patrons by taking orders, delivering food and beverages, and ensuring a pleasant dining experience. This role requires strong interpersonal and communication skills, as well as the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

  • Greet customers upon seating, ensure tables are clean and equipped with utensils and napkins.
  • Distribute menus and present daily specials.
  • Answer menu-related questions.
  • Take food and beverage orders and deliver them to the kitchen.
  • Deliver food, beverages, condiments, and other requested items to customers.
  • Ensure food is prepared correctly and to customers' satisfaction.
  • Collect plates and clear tables as customers finish their meals.
  • Prepare customers' checks and collect payments.
  • Assist with restaurant tasks such as cleaning the dining area and preparing silverware and condiments.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you should possess:

  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Strong interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Accuracy when taking and placing orders.
  • Proficiency in operating point-of-sale systems.
