Compensation

The base hourly wage for this position is $25-$30 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications.

Job Description

This role involves working independently as an Applicator in Colby, KS, where you will operate a sprayer and semi-truck in the field.

Your responsibilities will include:

  1. Applying fertilizer and crop protection products under general supervision.
  2. Picking up and delivering products to customers as needed.
  3. Working with customers in a courteous and professional manner, educating them on products and techniques.
  4. Assisting the sales staff in ensuring orders are correct and patron needs are met.
  5. Maintaining equipment, including driving a loader, forklift, and performing warehouse work.
  6. Lifting and loading products daily.
  7. Ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal laws and regulations.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must have:

  • At least 1 year of experience in Agriculture Production, Operations, or Application.
  • A valid Class A or B CDL license.
  • Meet the minimum age requirement.
Preferred Qualifications

We prefer candidates who can:

  • Maintain or obtain a CDL and DOT medical card.
  • Read, write, and communicate in English.
  • Work additional hours and be available for overnight stays and occasional weekends.
  • Have a High School diploma or GED.
  • Hold Hazmat, Tanker, and Air Brake endorsements.
  • Have experience in Agriculture, customer service, or a related field.
