Electromechanical Systems Verification and Validation Engineer

At Lexington Medical, Inc., we are seeking a talented Electromechanical Systems Verification and Validation Engineer to join our team. This role will be responsible for developing high-level verification and validation testing plans for electromechanical systems in collaboration with mechanical, electrical, and software engineers.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or a comparable engineering field and at least 2+ years of experience in V&V, quality, and/or testing engineering roles with electro-mechanical systems in a highly regulated industry such as medical device, defense, or automotive.

The successful candidate will be proficient in SolidWorks or comparable solid modeling software and have experience working with a Quality Management System. They will also be responsible for creating and taking ownership of testing protocols and reports throughout the development and product lifecycles.

As a key member of our team, the Electromechanical Systems Verification and Validation Engineer will support the creation and execution of early concept testing, synthesize testing results, and distill learnings into actionable product improvements in cooperation with design engineers.

Additionally, the successful candidate will own product testing timelines and work with product managers to ensure on-time completion of project deliverables. They will also design, build, and document custom testing fixtures to improve existing and new testing procedures.
