Medical Care Specialist

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Certified Medical Technician (CMT) to join our team at John B Parsons in Salisbury. As a CMT, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care and support to our residents, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social needs are met.
Responsibilities- Provide primary care and services to residents under the medical direction and supervision of attending physicians.
- Assess, prevent, and manage illnesses, maintaining regulatory compliance with state requirements for personal care homes.
- Administer and document medications, observing and verifying resident ingestion or application as directed.
- Verify medication brought into the facility by new residents, examining and identifying it with attending physicians or pharmacists.
- Assist residents with daily living functions and act as a liaison with residents, families, and support departments to plan for resident needs.
- Participate in workshops, seminars, and in-service training programs to enhance skills and knowledge.
- Evacuate residents during emergency situations and promote a positive work environment, encouraging professionalism among staff.
- Excellent customer service skills and ability to relate positively with staff, residents, families, and the community.
- Must have a Certified Med Tech certificate.
