Job Summary

The Quality Control Specialist will work closely with the Quality Control Inspection Supervisor to ensure that all products meet customer specifications. This role requires strong organizational and analytical skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure that all products meet or exceed customer specifications
  • Collaborate with the Quality Control Inspection Supervisor to identify and address quality issues
  • Assist with inspections, labeling, and packaging to ensure compliance with customer specifications
  • Report any exceptions to the customer specifications to the Quality Control Inspection Supervisor
  • Provide training and support to warehouse personnel as needed
Requirements
  • 1 year college degree or 6 months of experience in a related field
  • Previous experience in the produce industry is preferred
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Proficiency in MS Office and computer-use skills
Working Conditions

The work environment includes an expansive refrigerated warehouse with temperatures ranging from 45-55 degrees. The ability to lift up to 35 lbs is required.
