Phlebotomy Education Specialist

As a Phlebotomy Education Specialist at the Allied Health Institute, you will be responsible for teaching, evaluating and supervising students in the classroom and examination periods on a per class basis. The ideal candidate should have excellent written and verbal communication skills, as well as the ability to demonstrate and conduct 'live' sticks with students.
The successful completion of applicable licenses, professional credentials or certifications is required, along with at least three years of experience. If you are a phlebotomist, you must have 5 years of experience with a combination of outpatient and in-patient facilities. A bachelor's degree in a field related to course instruction is preferred.
This role offers a competitive salary of $60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience. In addition to your base salary, you can also expect comprehensive benefits and opportunities for career growth and development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Teach, evaluate and supervise students in the classroom and examination periods
- Prepare and deliver lectures on relevant topics
- Evaluate and grade students' class work, assignments and papers
- Collaborate with colleagues to address teaching and research issues
- Plan, evaluate and revise curricula, course content and methods of instruction
