About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Speech Language Pathologist to join our team at TotalMed Staffing. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for evaluating and treating communication disorders in patients of all ages.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess and diagnose communication and swallowing disorders in patients, utilizing standardized tests and assessments.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to improve speech, language, and swallowing abilities, in collaboration with healthcare professionals and caregivers.
  • Provide therapy sessions to improve articulation, language comprehension, fluency, and voice quality, using evidence-based practices and techniques.
  • Document patient progress, maintain accurate records, and provide education to patients and their families, ensuring seamless communication and coordination of care.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related field.
  • Current CCC-SLP certification and BLS certification.
  • Minimum two years of recent experience as a Speech Language Pathologist, with a strong track record of patient outcomes and satisfaction.
  • Excellent communication and adaptability skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
