We are seeking an experienced Senior Director of Global Sales Initiatives to lead our New York-based sales team in delivering annual revenue targets and expanding our network of sponsors and exhibitors for our annual event in Las Vegas.

About the Role
  • Lead, mentor, and coach a high-performing new business team, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
  • Develop and implement strategies to achieve and exceed annual revenue targets by attracting and closing deals with new sponsors and exhibitors.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional leaders to ensure effective sales strategy implementation across the new business team.
  • Maintain accurate and current sales reports using Salesforce data.
  • Model effective sales activities and techniques by engaging directly with prospective customers.
  • Build strong relationships and ensure accountability with key stakeholders in marketing, customer experience, operations, finance, executive, and other teams.
  • Cultivate global business opportunities through collaboration with international sales teams in EU, AS, and US regions.
Your Experience
  • Proven track record in sales leadership roles, preferably within the conference and event sponsorship sector.
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver on revenue targets and close high-value deals.
  • Excellent leadership and coaching skills, with experience managing and developing sales teams.
  • Strong analytical skills, leveraging Salesforce data for strategic decision-making.
  • Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to work effectively across teams and departments.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing market conditions.
  • Availability to be in our NYC office at least 3 days/week.
  • Travel as needed to meet with new prospects, including regular domestic and limited international travel.
