Support Specialist

We are seeking a qualified Support Specialist to join our team at Therapeutic Alternatives, Inc. The successful candidate will provide quality services to individuals with disabilities or mental illness in a group home setting.
Key Responsibilities- To assist individuals with daily living tasks and activities of daily living (ADLs) as outlined in their individual support plans.
- To provide transportation to outings, medical appointments, and other community-based activities.
- To document all services provided in progress notes, including observations, consumer participation, and progress.
- To adhere to company policies regarding confidentiality, data security, and use of technology.
- A high school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to read, write, understand, and follow directions.
- No substantiated findings on the NC Health Care Abuse Registry.
- Meets SBI and DMV requirements of LME/MCO contracts.
- A valid driver's license with three years of driving experience and acceptable automobile liability insurance.
- Experience working with individuals with intellectual/developmental disabilities is preferred but not required.
