Job Summary

A competitive salary of $65,000 - $85,000 per year is offered for this exciting opportunity as a Water Treatment Operator and Maintenance Specialist at US Water Services Corporation. With over 700 employees in eighteen states, we are a well-established and diverse water and wastewater utility organization specializing in utility maintenance, operations, engineering, and construction services.

The ideal candidate will possess both a Water and Waste Water Operator's License to operate and maintain water treatment facilities, processing, and testing equipment to purify water to meet permit and operational requirements. Troubleshooting and diagnosing operational problems, taking corrective action per procedure and process knowledge, monitoring flow meters, gauges, flow ratios, pressures, and related controls through instrument panels and programmable logic control units in assigned areas are key responsibilities.

The selected candidate will be responsible for:

  • Maintaining accurate records of operating conditions, observations, and data in area shift logs.
  • Ensuring conformance to process specifications.
  • Verifying and reporting suspected malfunctions and variances to supervisors.
  • Performing routine and preventative maintenance and maintenance-related items as assigned.
  • Conducting field laboratory tests (chemical and physical) to pace chemical dosages for efficient process control.
