Salary and Benefits

We offer a competitive hourly base pay of $60-$65+ with additional bonus opportunity. Job Description

The role involves performing dental hygiene procedures, educating patients on best oral hygiene practices and products, and practicing proactively. Key responsibilities include:

  • Patient Care: Conduct thorough hygiene procedures to include scaling and root planing, gingivitis scaling, and prophylaxis.
  • Assessment: Perform comprehensive periodontal charts, medical history assessments, and caries risk assessments.
  • Patient Education: Educate patients on hygiene treatments needed based on medical and periodontal assessments.
  • X-Rays: Take digital radiographs as necessary for patient diagnosis.
  • Treatment Planning: Assist in developing personalized AAP and ADA-based treatment plans per patient need, based on assessments and dentist recommendations.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with dentists and other dental professionals to ensure coordinated patient care.
  • Patient Interaction: Engage patients in a friendly, reassuring manner, while addressing any concerns or questions they may have.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate patient records and documentation of treatment plans and completed procedures.
  • Infection Control: Adhere strictly to infection control protocols and maintain a clean and sterile working environment.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must have:

  • Education: Degree or certification in Dental Hygiene from an accredited institution.
  • License: Valid state dental hygiene license.
  • Other licenses/certifications: CPR, Local Anesthesia, Nitrous Oxide Sedation, Laser Certification (where required).
