Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Staff Development Officer to join our team at Butte County, CA. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, directing, and implementing training and organizational development programs to enhance staff efficiency and consistency in service delivery.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement training programs to meet the needs of department staff
  • Conduct needs assessments and analyze data to identify training gaps
  • Design and deliver training sessions to promote employee development and improve job performance
  • Collaborate with management to develop training strategies and initiatives
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of training programs
  • Provide guidance and support to trainers and department staff
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in training and development
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as education, human resources, or organizational development
  • Three years of experience in training and development, with a focus on adult learning and organizational development
  • Proven track record of designing and delivering effective training programs
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
