Nursing Attendant Job Description

At Kaiser Permanente, we are seeking a skilled and compassionate Nursing Attendant to join our team in Anaheim, California.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual to work in a dynamic healthcare environment. As a Nursing Attendant, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse or physician.

Your primary focus will be on assisting patients with daily living activities, responding to their needs, and promoting a positive experience within our medical center.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist patients with personal care activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
  • Provide emotional support and comfort to patients and their families.
  • Document patient information accurately and efficiently.
  • Respond promptly to call lights and patient requests.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless care delivery.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you should possess:

  • A minimum of one year of experience as a Nursing Attendant in an acute hospital, skilled nursing, extended care, or convalescent care setting.
  • Current enrollment in an approved RN or LVN program may be substituted for one year of experience.
  • State Certification as a Nursing Assistant or completion of a Nursing Attendant course.
  • Basic Life Support certification.
What We Offer

We offer a competitive salary range of $45,000 - $60,000 per year, based on experience and qualifications.
