Petco Operations Generalist

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Operations Generalist to join our team at Petco. As an Operations Generalist, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and effective operations of the Pet Care Center, including merchandising and inventory strategies, guest experience, and animal care.

• Execute merchandising and inventory strategies across the Pet Care Center
• Ensure the efficient and effective operations of the Pet Care Center to meet the needs of guests and their pets
• Process register transactions and provide excellent guest experience
• Be proficient in our selling model and support guest interactions as needed
• Have a strong interest in animal welfare and support animal care procedures to maintain pet health
• Complete and apply training programs to maintain a high level of expertise in the role
• Promote a positive culture of teamwork, inclusion, and collaboration
• Adhere to established operational guidelines, policies, and procedures

• Minimum high school diploma or equivalent (GED)
• Proficiency in mathematics and basic accounting relationships
• Exceptional communication skills
• Keen and genuine interest in animals and their care
• Good interpersonal and verbal communication skills
