Key Responsibilities- Provide safe, effective, and compassionate nursing care to patients with various types of cancer.
- Utilize the nursing process to plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans.
- Prepare patients for procedures and monitor their condition periodically.
- Guide and direct unlicensed assistive personnel in delivering interdisciplinary patient care.
- Communicate and collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes and continuity of care.
- Coordinate communications with patients and providers, including symptom management.
- Contribute to safety outcomes and promote high-quality patient experiences.
- Current professional nursing licensure in the State of IL.
- Graduate of a NLN-accredited school of nursing; BSN strongly preferred.
- BLS/CPR certification required; BMTCN/OCN certifications preferred.
- Minimum 1-year Oncology experience required; Hematology/Oncology experience preferred.
