Select Medical, a renowned healthcare provider, is seeking an exceptional Physical Therapist Assistant to join our team at our outpatient orthopedic center in Millbury, MA. Salary Information
The compensation package for this position includes an hourly rate starting at $30, with opportunities for growth based on experience. Job Responsibilities
As a Physical Therapist Assistant, you will work under the supervision of a licensed physical therapist, providing physical therapy services that cater to the needs of patients with various abilities and ages. Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Implementing high-quality physical therapy services with minimal supervision, adhering to the principles and practices of physical therapy and Select Medical's policies and procedures.
- Maintaining positive interactions with centers and patients, enhancing client relations, and expanding collaborations with centers and their staff.
Requirements and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you must possess the following qualifications:
- A college graduate degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
- PASSed a national examination for PTAs certified by the CAPTE.
- A valid State Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) License or be in the process of obtaining it.
- CPR Certification.
