Job Summary

As a Foreman Pipefitter at TDIndustries, you will supervise, coordinate, and inspect the assembly, installation, and repair of piping trade components, subsystems, and systems during construction, tenant finish-out, or remodel of commercial buildings and industrial facilities. Your expertise in construction procedures, equipment, and OSHA guidelines will ensure the safe and efficient completion of projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare material take-offs, layout systems, and create isometric and schematic sketches from blueprints, specifications, submittals, and job orders.
  • Participate in job planning, manage construction/manufacturing schedules, and ensure appropriate staffing based on equipment and tool knowledge.
  • Coach, mentor, and provide guidance to craft workers (piping trade), scheduling and coordinating activities, and verifying staff certifications.
  • Inspect work in progress and completed work to ensure conformance to specifications.
  • Eliminate construction and job site hazards and perform required safety observations.
  • Coordinate material placement and storage, and assist in maintaining assigned tool inventory.
  • Verify delivered materials and equipment match approved submittals.
  • Perform other duties as required.

Requirements

High School Diploma or GED required. Technical training or Associate's Degree in Construction Management or related field is preferred. 5-7 years of experience as a Foreman Pipefitter. In-depth knowledge of construction procedures, equipment, and OSHA guidelines. Understanding of electrical and hydraulic systems. Ability to read drawings, plans, and blueprints.
