About the Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Advanced Medical Imaging Professional to join our team for a travel assignment in Austell, Georgia. This is a 13-week contract position requiring 40 hours of work per week with an 8-hour night shift schedule.

Job Description:

This role involves operating medical imaging equipment, such as MRI machines, to produce high-quality images for diagnostic purposes. You will work closely with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective patient care.

Responsibilities:
  • Operate MRI machines and other medical imaging equipment to produce high-quality images
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses
  • Assist patients with positioning and preparation for imaging procedures
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to safety protocols and guidelines

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:
  • A degree in Radiologic Technology or a related field
  • Certification as an MRI Technologist, preferably ARRT (R) certified
  • At least 1 year of experience in medical imaging, preferably in an MRI environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
