The Arc of South Florida Inc. is a nonprofit private agency dedicated to empowering individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
We are seeking a highly skilled SLP Speech Language Pathologist to join our team of professionals who share our passion for making a meaningful impact in the community.
This pediatric speech and language therapist position offers a unique opportunity to work with children with diverse needs and abilities, providing specialized care and support to help them reach their full potential.
As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team of professionals, including occupational therapists, psychologists, and social workers, to provide comprehensive services to our clients.
Key responsibilities of this role include:
- Providing high-quality speech and language therapy services to children with a range of abilities and needs
- Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans to meet the unique needs of each client
- Collaborating with other professionals to ensure comprehensive and coordinated care
- Maintaining accurate and detailed records of client progress and treatment plans

Requirements:
- Valid Florida license to practice speech and language therapy
- Excellent knowledge of principles and practices of speech therapy
- Familiarity with assessment tools and ability to perform quality evaluations
- Ability to work constructively with children with different types of personalities and diagnoses
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills (English and Spanish preferred)
