Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Cardiac Catheterization Lab Technologist to join our team at Allied Presbyterian Rust Medical Center. As a key member of our cardiovascular team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and technical expertise in the cardiac catheterization lab.

Responsibilities
  • Technical Expertise: You will be responsible for operating and maintaining complex imaging equipment, including fluoroscopy and ultrasound machines.
  • Patient Care: You will provide direct patient care, including preparing patients for procedures, monitoring vital signs, and administering medications as needed.
  • Team Collaboration: You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals, including cardiologists, nurses, and other technologists, to ensure seamless patient care.
  • Quality Assurance: You will participate in quality improvement initiatives to ensure that our cardiac catheterization lab meets the highest standards of patient care and safety.
Requirements
  • Credentials: You must have current certification as a Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) or a Registered Cardiac Electrophysiology Specialist (RCES).
  • Experience: You must have a minimum of 2 years of experience in a cardiac catheterization lab setting, with a strong background in invasive cardiovascular technology.
  • Skills: You must possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Work Environment

You will work in a state-of-the-art cardiac catheterization lab, equipped with the latest technology and equipment. You will be required to work a variety of shifts, including days, evenings, and weekends, as well as participate in on-call rotations.
