Environmental Testing and Consulting, Inc. is a multidisciplinary environmental consulting firm with a unique blend of technical expertise and regulatory experience. We provide cost-effective solutions to environmental problems through comprehensive project site evaluations, applied laboratory analysis, and development of programs for complying with government regulations.

The company offers a full range of professional, technical, and training services, with offices located throughout Michigan, primarily serving the Midwest States. Our clients include industrial corporations, commercial businesses, law offices, lending institutions, government agencies, schools, and homeowners.

We are seeking an Administrative Coordinator to execute the necessary clerical tasks and business functions that keep the training department daily operating and viable as both a profit center and an accredited training entity.

Key Responsibilities
  • Course schedule upkeep and communication
  • Registration and intake of course attendees
  • Submittal of required pre- and post-notifications for courses
  • Production and documentation of attendee certifications
  • Supplies and course materials management (books, handouts, forms, etc.) for courses
  • Providing pricing, scheduling, and course information to prospective attendees
  • Monitor and maintain necessary course accreditations (through appropriate governmental agencies)
Additional Responsibilities
  • Client outreach for referrals, need assessments, special offers, and/or renewal opportunities
  • Market research on competitor course frequency, pricing, and other industry trends
  • Research and application for new course offerings (as directed by management)
  • Coordinating and curating internal training efforts for ETC employees (new hire training, employee refreshers, grant-funded offerings)

The ideal candidate will have organization and management skills, proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, and professional phone communication. Compensation for this full-time position will be paid hourly, according to the relevant experience of the selected candidate.

This position is eligible for full-time benefits after 90 days, including employee insurance (medical/vision/dental/life), matching 401(k), paid holidays and vacations, and overtime pay.
