Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop electrical systems for BART infrastructure projects, including substations, switchgear, and traction power systems.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure electrical systems meet project requirements and are safely implemented.
  • Develop and maintain electrical system designs, specifications, and documentation.
  • Conduct site visits to inspect electrical systems and ensure compliance with project requirements.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to project teams and stakeholders.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in electrical engineering design and construction project experience.
  • Knowledge of electrical principles, practices, and codes.
  • Experience with CADD and other engineering software.
