Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to join our team at Bay Area Rapid Transit (BART). As an Electrical Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing electrical systems for our infrastructure projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop electrical systems for BART infrastructure projects, including substations, switchgear, and traction power systems.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure electrical systems meet project requirements and are safely implemented.
  • Develop and maintain electrical system designs, specifications, and documentation.
  • Conduct site visits to inspect electrical systems and ensure compliance with project requirements.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to project teams and stakeholders.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in electrical engineering design and construction project experience.
  • Knowledge of electrical principles, practices, and codes.
  • Experience with CADD and other engineering software.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
