At Supplemental Health Care, we have an exciting opportunity for a Family Medicine Healthcare Professional to join our team. As part of our commitment to delivering exceptional care, this role will work closely with our hospital partners in Quincy, California.

About the Role:

This position involves providing high-quality patient care as a Nurse Practitioner – Advanced Practice Nurse Practitioner. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing patients' health, diagnosing and treating illnesses, and developing personalized treatment plans. A strong focus on preventative care will also be essential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough medical assessments and develop effective treatment plans
  • Prescribe medications and order diagnostic tests as necessary
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care delivery
  • Stay current with the latest medical research, guidelines, and best practices

Requirements:

  • Degree in Nursing (Master's or Doctoral) and certification as a Nurse Practitioner – Advanced Practice Nurse Practitioner
  • Current licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) in California
  • American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • Minimum 1-2 years of recent experience in a Family Medicine setting

Salary and Benefits:

The estimated salary for this position is between $56,160 and $61,616 per year, based on a 40-hour workweek and assuming a 13-week contract with tax-free stipends. Additionally, benefits start day one and include a 401(k) retirement plan, continuing education opportunities, health savings account, and referral bonus program.
