About the Role
The Senior Wellness Coordinator is responsible for managing the day-to-day healthcare operations of the community to ensure residents' healthcare needs are met. This includes ensuring residents are treated with respect and dignity, providing quality care as residents' healthcare needs change, and overseeing medication training, pharmacy management, and medication supervision and/or administration in the community.
Responsibilities
* Manage the day-to-day healthcare operations of the community to ensure residents' healthcare needs are met
* Ensure residents are treated with respect and dignity and provide quality care as residents' healthcare needs change
* Oversee and manage the continuity and consistency of medication training, pharmacy management, and medication supervision and/or administration in the community
* Supervise community-based licensed nursing staff, medication technicians/CMA's, and caregivers and provide training and education to caregivers on an ongoing basis
* Manage associate schedules
* Share on-call duties as required
* Education: Associate's degree or higher and a minimum of 1-2 years relevant experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
* LPN or LVN license required
